Every season has its own special delight. From mid-May onwards the
midnight sun lights the way ahead, the reindeer calves are herded
in for marking and the meltwater gathers force. In June the national
park bursts into blossom. In early July the anglers begin to arrive
and you see a growing number of trekkers on the paths. September
heralds the start of the grouse-shooting season. And in the winter
half of the year you can see the northern lights at almost any time.
Even though Stora Sjöfallet may offer adventure it is neither
hazardous nor arduous. We have made things very comfortable for
you and can even provide a link to the Internet. The best time to
come here is during the season March-October. But you also have
the opportunity to come here at other times of the year on your
own or in a group to enjoy the mountain and the Arctic climate.
